The Worthy Blog started when I was crying my eyes out while sitting on the toilet of my office bathroom...
It was a really hard day for me. Every move I made, left me feeling like I was unworthy and not enough. I decided in that moment that it was time for a personal pep talk. Enough was enough. I wiped the snot from my nose, looked myself in the mirror and took back my worthiness.

I am every woman who has felt like she wasn't enough. I am every woman who talked herself out of action because of fear of what people would think. But I am also the woman who said, "no more." I had to start redefining my feelings about myself and requiring change. Once you begin to understand your worthiness, you will innately require self-respect. You will require self-discipline. You will require self-love. The commonality of these things is YOU. It starts with you. I know these things because I had to go through it. I am going through it!
That's why we are here.
These are my people.
My husband Wayne and I met in the fall of 2014. We were engaged within 6 months and married 5 months after that on New Years Eve. He is an absolute riot. I always say that I am 85% out of my comfort zone 100% of the time with him, but I wouldn't have it any other way. He truly inspires me to be a better woman and puts up with me like no other.
That perfect angel you see there was born on the morning of my husband's 37th birthday. He's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, and the greatest joy of our lives.
